A firm voice that allows you to review your evidence
MVGA publishes from an explicit political interpretation. He criticizes Chavismo, rentism, statism and partisanship; studies Venezuelan references and proposes a Sixth Republic. This orientation does not turn a suspicion into fact nor does it allow attributing to a source words that he or she did not say.
Facts, interpretation and proposal
A fact is supported by a document, record, study or testimony identified according to its scope. An interpretation relates facts and develops a thesis. An opinion expresses an assessment. A proposal presents a future decision and must clarify its mechanisms and what remains open.
The pieces are labeled historical essay, profile, analysis or opinion. The existence of references does not automatically convert an essay into original archival research. The statements of an institution or party document its position, they do not alone prove its accusations against third parties.
Appointments, figures and responsibilities
A literal quote needs authorship and a locator. The summaries preserve the meaning without appearing to be exact words. Numbers indicate period, unit, definition and source. Series with different perimeters are not added or compared without explanation.
A complaint, an investigation, a trial and a conviction are different states. Political or administrative responsibility does not automatically demonstrate criminal responsibility for each event. Accusations of crime or secret coordination require their own evidence; editorial affinity does not replace it.
Sources and limits
The library uses primary documents, archives, historiography and academic research. Video transcripts help locate arguments, but may contain errors in speech, dates, and attribution. Party accounts are identified and contrasted according to the claim being examined.
Sources are linked and local documents are described with available information. A document that is not publicly accessible should not receive a made-up URL. The lack of a record cannot be used as proof of innocence or guilt.
Corrections and news
A substantial correction is incorporated with a date and explanation of the change. The analysis of the situation indicates its factual nature; a later post should update facts that have changed. The editorial review record is maintained in the work package.
Channels for submitting corrections will be announced when enabled. Until then the site does not collect messages or maintain a mailing list. The library can be read and shared through links.
Images and heritage
Assets must retain credit and rights. A portrait restored or reconstructed with AI will be labeled when the intervention alters its documentary status. A symbolic image will not be presented as a photograph of a fact or as evidence of an official charge or endorsement.
