Mission

Recover and disseminate the political, cultural and intellectual memory of Venezuela; study the ideas and decisions that strengthened or weakened the nation; and formulate a refoundation proposal based on freedom, legitimate authority, property, work, merit, production and public responsibility.

The mission is accomplished through a select library of substantial and traceable texts. Each essay should help understand a problem, distinguish facts and opinion, and open a discussion that can be supported with documents. The editorial work examines governments and oppositions with criteria also applicable to MVGA proposals.

Vision

A sovereign, safe and productive Venezuela, with citizens capable of deciding their lives and a State capable of fulfilling public functions under limits. A nation where wealth strengthens training, infrastructure, savings and initiative, and where participation does not depend on affiliation or the favor of a political organization.

The vision includes an administration that publishes its decisions, independent courts, professional security forces and an economy where production is more reasonable than seeking an allocation. Cultural and educational reconstruction must accompany material recovery so that capabilities survive a boom or government.

How we measure the course

A proposal is evaluated by the means it defines and by the results it allows to verify. MVGA raises questions that must accompany every decision: what power is granted, who controls it, how much it costs, what rights it protects, and how an error can be corrected.

The library should expand knowledge, not demand obedience. The discussion of the Sixth Republic must specify mechanisms, not multiply promises. International cooperation must contribute to the recovery of Venezuelan authority and freedom. Oil income must leave capacities that work when the price falls.

The mission and vision share a demand: that the citizen stops being a client of power. A free society needs rules, knowledge and opportunities to work, associate and dissent. The nation regains sovereignty when those capabilities can be exercised in daily life.
